Our Story

Who We Are?

Stand For Kashmiri Youth Trust is a voluntary, non-government, social impact organisation established in 2017.The organisation is purely based on social work, capacity building of people in general and youth in particular. Education, youth development, women empowerment, health and environment are the focus areas of organisation. Organisation has carried out different un-budgeted and budgeted projects related to education, health, women empowerment, environment and crisis relief since its establishment. SKY TRUST is now closely working with the people like youth, teachers, women, government and non-government officials/organisations.  Our network of 150 young volunteers spreads over more than 50 villages  of Kashmir working on bringing resources closer to the underprivileged communities and help organisation in implementing its programs on ground level. Also, Sky Trust has a women’s wing of 35 members deeply committed to the cause of improving health and hygiene status of women.

Our partnership with different national and international organisations, along with persistent support from individual donors and well wishers help us to continue our work with same zeal and passion.

Our Mission

To bring positive change in society through capacity building of people, advancement of education, women empowerment, improve the health status of underprivileged communities, protection, conservation and regeneration of natural environment, social awareness, income generation activities, child rights protection and relief and rehabilitation.


Since establishment SKY TRUST has worked on identifying the issues related to education, youth,
women empowerment, health and environment and tried to mitigate these issues at community level.

  • 09 dropout students readmitted in schools.
  • 40 young girls capacitated on menstrual hygiene management.
  • Sky public library established to promote education among underprivileged students.
  • 29 students were provided free academic books till December 2021.
  • SKY TRUST is now closely working with the people like youth, teachers, women, govt. and non-govt. officials.
  • Our network now spreads over more than 50 villages.
  • Deeply committed to the cause of environmental protection, conservation and regeneration the organisation has village volunteers working for the same in their respective villages.
  • Plantation drives in schools have increased green cover in intervention areas. Dustbin distribution in schools improved the sanitation in 05 schools.
  • Through its health intervention it has appreciably improved the health status of the target group. 40 young girls are trained to conduct awareness camps on Menstrual Hygiene Management in villages.
  • Reusable sanitary napkins distributed among 1900 poor menstruating women.
  • Medical camp helped more than 1000 poor patients.
  • Hygiene classes in 05 schools have improved in personal hygiene of students and school sanitation.
